In this work, we use the global gyrokinetic turbulence code GENE-X for simulations of the AUG tokamak including the magnetic X-point. We start with turbulence in a pre-LH-transition L-mode and then perform a power ramp by adjusting the inner boundary condition. We present a summary of the selected observations made during the transient phase of the power ramp.
