- Most JET tiles are below critical levels for large transport containers; only one tile requires large containers.
- ITER expressed strong interest in EUROfusion’s experience transporting nuclear materials, for their own safety case and hot cell minimization planning. A Lessons Learned report is being prepared.
- Many ITPEA presentations (next week) from the PWIE program.
- A joint TE-PWI half-day workshop on tungsten sources, influxes, and migration is being tentatively planned for October.
WPSTEL:
- First week of commissioning successful: pellet injection with improved confinement, higher temperatures, stable operation, ICRH working well following improvements made between campaigns.
- Issue regarding 30k€ mission funds to be escalated.
WPTM:
- Xavier is attending the IMEG meeting at ITER (3 days); Frank and Denis attending remotely.
- Update on TSVVs and most have planned their general workshops for the year.
