- columnar and porous W layers produced in FP8 --> morphology and grain size can be varied
- multilayer structures to mimic re-deposits --> GyM, (MAGNUM, PSI-2, others)
- rough and/or patterned surfaces --> also more complex structures can be produced --> GyM and/or tokamaks
- Francesco: TDS available (size limit as in the past)
- Cedric: interested in Raman analyses of pyramid structures
- Sebastijan: MAGNUM experiments on re-deposited W --> one wants to produce proxies to those

- Be films: mixtures, sample heating, baking simulations, gas inclusions, roughness
- Analysis capabilities: SEM, XRD, TDS
- Sebastijan: LID-QMS, LIBS request for samples --> discussions with Hennie needed; low-temperature peak, can it be due to BeDx? Or rather sample instability? Test samples by Raman if that really is BeDx --> one clear focus point! (temperature dependence!?)
- Cedric: high-temperature peaks, due to contamination? or other elements in the sample structure, may also be multitude of defects?
- Distinguish between trapping and de-trapping due to evaporation by TDS!
- Focus on understanding the data from samples and only produce samples for LIBS, combine the work with what we have learnt from JET --> involve Jari in the discussions --> action on AH

- Confocal and Raman capabilities: CLSM for large surfaces (witth varying roughnesses), SEM and FIB also available --> identify what is under the surfaces
- Raman useful for Be, BeD, BeO, WO, trapped D2

- Bobi: fatty acids found on some samples --> contamination to be clarified
