Training on the High Fidelity Pulse Simulator

Europe/Berlin
Clarisse Bourdelle (CEA)
Description

The High Fidelity Pulse Simulator (HFPS) is a new EUROfusion whole discharge simulator based on the modular version of the JINTRAC adapted to the IMAS data format. It is interfaced to EUROfusion machines: JET, AUG, WEST, and TCV and installed at ITER as one of pulse simulators. It is capable of predictive modelling of current diffusion, heat, particle and momentum transport over multiple confinement times, including for multiple ions with self-consistent radiation.

More information is available at: https://wiki.euro-fusion.org/wiki/TSVV-11, further details can be requested directly to Clarisse Bourdelle,  clarisse.bourdelle@cea.fr, principal investigator of TSVV-11 project.
