Michele showed preliminary results from ETS-6 modelling with TGLF and comparisons with TGYRO. The input shot file is:

For modelling with a single species he was able to reproduce the character of the TGLF results by adjusting the transport in the pedestal region in ETS-6 - in TGLF an advanced pedestal model was used. The output shot file:

For multiple species the ETS-6 did not find any equilibrium state, as the temperatures increased unboundedly with time. The output shot file:

To be improve:
- hard to read core_sources and core_transport in viz. Can we add the identifier/name in the source-list and model-list.
- Problems with simpleCompareCoretransport and simpleCompareCoresources with DIII-D data.
Comment from Alexei: Is the equipartition terms energy conserving? The answer is no, since the equipartition is partially implicit.
Action:
- Add diagnostic to measure the lack of power balance in the equipartition. How should this be used and stored? Can we add it as an error to be used in the iteration loop?
