DSO Science Meeting - LTDSF use cases

The Long-Term Data Storage Facility (LTDSF) hosted by IPPLM/PSNC in Poznań has now been put into operation. On April 14, a training session was conducted with a small group of ACH experts to test access to the facility from geographically distributed locations. Initial feedback is very positive.

While further ACH tests are ongoing, we would like to invite you to a meeting to discuss the policy for controlling the use of the facility. As E-TASC contributors are expected to be the main users of the LTDSF, we would like to organize a short meeting to review relevant use cases and establish a small expert group to define the rules for its use.

Once the policy is established, training on LTDSF access and usage will be provided to the wider E-TASC community, ideally by the beginning of May.
