ML application for data quality monitoring and data curation in the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider 40m

Roberto Seidita is an experimental physicist working with the CMS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. He obtained his PhD at the University of Florence, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich. He serves as a coordinator within CMS for data processing and data quality, helping to ensure that the data recorded by the experiment are reliable and suitable for scientific analysis. His research combines particle physics, large-scale data processing and machine learning, with a particular focus on developing automated methods for detecting anomalies both in detector data and in searches for new physical phenomena.
