W7-X Topical Group 'Edge and Divertor'

OP2 proposals and campaign planning:

• The call for proposals for OP2 (for OP2.1 and OP2.2) is will be open from 4th - 30th of April 2022. Call for Proposals Work Package Wendelstein 7-X (WPW7X) for the 2022 campaign on W7-X (OP2.1 and OP2.2.).
• The preparatory work for the proposals is organized by the following sub-theme coordinators:
  • Detachment: Marcin Jakubowski
  • Divertor spectroscopy: Dorothea Gradic
  • Dynamic effects of the island divertor: Alexander Knieps
  • Error field corrections: Sam Lazerson
  • Particle fueling and exhaust: Thierry Kremeyer
  • Power exhaust: Yu Gao
  • SOL transport (incl. profiles, turbulences and filaments): V. Perseo
• Check also the mind map with the discussed OP2 topics and the Proposals_preparation_OP2 presentation, from January 10.
• To keep track of the proposals, a table was created on the x-drive:
