Action items:

 

A DMP wiki page has been created and we should start using this for documentation / information as well.

• Intention is to keep a table of the progress in access/ingest/100 views test protocol as well as generic information on the project. 
• List of 0D data from TSVV11 is on google drive please update there so that we can keep track on 0d fulfillment. 

Information Gathering

• KeyCLoak PMU/IPP IT meeting  --> Michal Owsiak to call for a meeting with DK, DB and IPP/IT
• PS to share the requirements captured form TSVV10, 11 and others.  -->  Need to find a way to structure information a la 0D data
• PS to try to update the requirements with input from Olivier Sauters group in relation to MAST-U collaboration on equilibrium -- still pending

Infrastructure testing

•  ALL sites: provide and/or ensure that the UDA access server test can be done asap. UDA instance set up (access by any means ) and details to PSNC: I assume ongoing some discussions on e-mail
• PSNC to ingest TCV and WEST scenario A data that is already available.

Infrastructure extensions: New sites

• JET/JDC - PS to prepare a slide for JD3C today. 0.5ppy + some hardware - meeting today
• JT60-SA . Carlo Sozzi to attend meeting after easter

General information

• Objectives for 2024:
  Provide searchable metadata (waveforms) for all participating sites on the new Gateway (scenario A)
  Demonstrate the ability to provide data access for user driven application needs (e.g., TSVV-11) for several of the participating sites (scenario B)
  Develop the technology to integrate modelling data through SimDB as a site(facility) of its own.

Longer term vision: A one stop facility for researching, accessing, processing, analysing, and sharing experimental and modelling data.

ITER- EUROfusion coordination meeting on IMAS: 

• Stresses the importance IMAS in EF strategy
• Discussed software quality (memory leaks in released software) 
• Critical risks in relation to DMP/EF softare infrastrucrue
• Licensing 
• Need 

Minutes: from 2024-03-20

Core service: 

• PSNC has updated the UDA with some KeyCLoak related extensions. The migration to AL5 is still an ongoing proess and the UDA import process shoul dbe finalised --> all to be merged this week. 
• Backend/client side token update management to be handled automagically.
• Fully implemented release procedures with continous and tagged versions.

Sites: 

• TCV: no updates waiting for PSNC to testing /ingestion.
• WEST: Ready to test Scenario A with 1425 dicharges from the C7 campaing.
• MAST: will review what it takes to map existing data to IDS-summary 
• MAST-U: Current data is not well organised or collected for scenario A data. Should make an assessment of the ability to provide data. 
• COMPASS/COMPASS-U: Building a local UDA servier for testing purposes -  has gotten in to some issues with building the IMAS side   - discusison on where to find documentation and possibility of testing docker images instead (no go?).
• AUG. Moving rapidly and demoinstrated access to scenario A and Scenario B data. see slides. 

 

Minutes 2024-03-13

PSNC: Continued work on the UDA security update with the view of integrating in the 
     longer term move the security layer from the iMAS plugin to the security layer.

     Looking at the access/ingestion tests with more partners involved.
  
  Question/discussion on how to hadle invalid numbers in the data  --> formally keep as "null" in the database, the Disruption database is however having a different approach where the data is not filled but flagged and (reasons given). 
  We would need to think on how to accomodate this on the GW services when it moves to IMAS format.

AUG: Good progress (see slides) installation uo and running tested from ITER (GW not up to speed in terms of UDA istallation). JIRA trackers on bug(s) encountered during the work
TCV: Ready for 100 views ingestion, local installation tested (also from ITER)
WEST: Still no progress on the certificate issue and external access tests still pending (?), UDA server with 1275 shots from the C7 Campaigns has been promoted and is now ingestion ready,.
COMPASS: Internal discussions and pripritisation now done and a request for 0.7PPM in suport has been sent to Denis (?) in suppor tfo Scenario A, B and imasification of machine data. 
MAST/MAST-U: MAST shots are being made avaialble through CCFE general activity, adaptation to DMP work for EUROfusion discharges?
JDC:  No clear mandate for the people involved to start work. Ongoing discussion with the RO at JDC and EUROfusion. --> Take request to JD3C for decison.
