Botond to remind of most important deadlines in two weeks.
Strong unofficial possibility that there will be no scientific exploitation of JT-60SA in 2026.
Sam Davis will step down as Project Leader and Jeronimo Garcia has been nominated for that position.
Search for new Experiment Leader is ongoing.
F4E would like to have long term secondments to JT-60SA but there’s the need for an agreed structure before EUROfusion proposes names. It could be 6 people, or more, but the roles are not yet agreed. Data validation is a topic that is brought up regularly. Diagnostic ROs are also being considered but in the current organization these are under the exclusive responsibility of QST.

Meeting of the WG before the BASC which will officially approve the WG. QST already agreed for this WG to be created.
First meeting of the WG this Summer. Exact date to be clarified soon.
Interviews of the candidates for WP Leader for Theory and Modelling was done. Xavier Litaudon will be proposed for approval by the General Assembly. Possible workshop on three areas Core, Pedestal, Edge.
JET Data Access being discussed between European Commission and ITER. STAC mentioned some concerns expected to be raised at the upcoming General Assembly.
Two calls are out for Deputies for PWIE (at 50%) and TE.
Provide feedback on ITER related items indicated by Alberto Loarte.
Operational training plan by ITER to be defined at the earliest by October-November.
Two new ITPA topical groups being created.
EUROfusion to provide a new Roadmap taking in consideration the expert panel group report.
European Commission welcomes the creation of a working group on a Fusion Pilot Plant.
EFPW in early 2026 to focus on Exhaust, Divertor Physics.
Reminder on News Items. On WPSA the installation of large diagnostics is a possible idea. For WPTE a possibility is ADCs.
On the next meeting: preparation of the Project Board will be discussed.

New plasma position coil to be manufactured. Analysis of the failure in this coil to be done. F4E states this replacement may create a 4 month delay. Evaluation point to be had in September.
Thomson Scattering installation has been anticipated.
WPTE is assuming no scientific exploitation in 2026.
Machine Enhancement 2 could spill into 2028

It would be good to have the PLs meeting when is a bit clearer the direction of travel of the JT-60SA reorganization.
Needs of TE for Modelling to be done through the new WP Project Leader.
