General:
•    Annual Work Plan 26-27 submitted along with an extracted Annual Work Plan 26 created by Admin. Awaiting Commission review to determine if anything else is required. Annual Work Plan 27 might also be extracted by Admin from the same document.
•    JT-60SA mid- and long term EUROfusion scientific priorities were presented and discussed.
•    Carlo exchanging emails with Mario Cavinato and Valerio Tomarchio on MPP update. Draft MPP should be ready for next BACM and circulated to work package leaders beforehand. Document currently somewhat limited on operations side. MPP should be kept at general level rather than with excessive details to avoid frequent updates.
•    Upcoming meeting with ITER tentatively scheduled for 6 July but awaiting confirmation. Work package leaders or designated representatives to report and participate in technical discussions.
 
WPTE:
•    AUG program starting tomorrow with timeline distributed and mostly settled until end of spring-summer campaign.
•    TCV and MAST Upgrade in operation and working as planned; MAST Upgrade stopping in two weeks before extended shutdown. WEST supposed to restart today update expected today.
•    PSI rehearsals started yesterday with two more sessions coming (Thursday and next Monday). PWIE will have dedicated rehearsal.
•    JT-60SA experimental team meeting scheduled for 11 May at 9:00 AM.
 
WPSTEL:
•    IPP employees participation in campaigns discussed. Coherent strategy is needed for upcoming campaigns.
•    On 30 April 2026, the Spanish Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities made the official announcement of Project WISER, a public-private investment of 500 M€ aimed at demonstrating the scientific and technological feasibility of the stellarator concept as a fusion reactor. Project WISER is the result of an alliance between CIEMAT, the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), and the company Técnicas Reunidas.
 
WPPWIE
•    Campaign completed at VTT analysing JET and reference samples. Deuterium and hydrogen levels very low; tritium signature two orders of magnitude lower in bulk tungsten.
•    Second campaign in 2027 proposed with more time available which is important for quantifying fuel retention in components.
•    Two reserved containers may not be needed, allowing internal budget reorganization.
•    PSI rehearsal scheduled for Tuesday after TE rehearsals. 4 out of 5 PSI reviews will be covered in rehearsals.
•    core management meeting was informed that Commission contacted work package leaders directly for explanatory meetings. They should use designated PMU email address rather than contacting work package leaders directly. This issue will be put to the Commission when opportunity arises.
 
WPTM:
•    Coordination meeting scheduled for tomorrow on stellarator modelling activity.
•    Integrated modelling documentation available on wiki.
 
WPSA:
•    Kick-off meetings completed.
•    PSO changed with new person now in place.
•    Grant delivery report due last week is being completed with delivery expected for today or tomorrow.
•    VUV spectrometer news item being written.
•    The organization of two PhD students stay in Naka to be brought again to Eva’s attention when she returns to Garching next week.
•    SNE salaries issue raised in core management meeting. TRED is to identify budget source for control room and subsystem personnel salaries.
 
AOB: 
•    Meeting in two weeks clashes with the PSI conference and has been cancelled.
