ACP meeting 1-2 December 2026

We are pleased to inform you that the PMU and the Coordinator Unit is arranging an in-person meeting to be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 01^st -02^nd December 2026.

To help us with planning and logistics, we kindly ask all those who are interested in attending in person to register by Sunday, 18^th October 2026 (23:59 CET). This will allow us to estimate the number of participants and make the necessary arrangements accordingly. It will also help us plan the Research Reactor TRIGA tour scheduled for the second day of the event. Others who decide to join at a later stage will still be welcome, but early registration is highly appreciated for organisational purposes.

A video connection will also be available for those joining remotely; the link will be communicated closer to the date.

As part of the meeting programme:

- A self-paid dinner is planned for the evening of Tuesday, 1^st December 2026, (19:00 CET), at a local restaurant Slovenska hiša

 

- A self-paid lunch will be provided by an external catering company at a cafeteria near the Institute, with both meat and vegetarian options available on Tuesday and Wednesday, 1^st and 2^nd December 2026.

- A 1,5 - hour guided walking tour of the Old Town is planned for 1^st December, including visits to the Basilica, Castle, and Dragon Bridge.

- A visit to the Research Reactor TRIGA will be offered on Wednesday, 02^nd December 2026 (The tour will last a maximum of 2 hours.)

-  Transportation: Please note that Ljubljana is located approximately 10 km from the location of the Meeting in JSI. The journey by taxi takes around 25 minutes, depending on traffic.

The Research Reactor TRIGA is located approximately halfway between Ljubljana and the airport, so participants may also choose to travel directly from the RRT to the airport after the programme.

Please be aware that the cost of the taxi transfer needs to be covered individually by each participant.
