Two new postdoctorals from IJC and CEMHTI group

Guanying report her modelling results.

To do: check the little amount V in WV by modelling.

 

Marie-France

PIMAT (Plasma irradiation in Materials) check the device ,first test

Zhehao visit in 10-20 December

W,WV,WNbV samples 300 nm  layer    grow on MgO substrates, do experiments in CEMHTI

(Summary: AFM on He exposed single crystal,A new device to control ion density in plasma, work plan for Zhehao’s visit)

Questions: Delivery of HEA, cutting in France, who pays?

(VTT is responsible for the Finfusion. Tomi will check the financial. Final meeting will be in the France(at least 2 days).)

VTT cut the sample to small piece and delivery to France. Marie-France

 will polish the sample in her lab. What technical skill to check the V?

Task: observing the bubbles nucleation and growth by in situ ion TEM

WTaCrV thin film, 200keV He+ at RT   (Publication,)

Future work: prepare TEM thin foils?Ex situ + in situ TEM? Analyze the data.

Zhehao

FCC Cantor HEA, annealing, Temp above 873K, (3D:large He bubbles, HEA:small, Steel:small and large)

HEA has small size He clusters(Binding energy in V-containing materials goes down with the increase of He atoms). At least this is good for the mechanical properties.

 

Flyura:

DDL for annual report 12th December, template (what information we are looking for?)  Set next month in another February.
