Description
The presentation includes past R&D activities (history) done on the EU Gyrotron project for ITER, current status of the project for the ITER baseline and also includes some part dedicated to the ITER re-baseline, and future plans and challenges to complete the EU Gyrotrons project for ITER. Finally, open questions are launched to the audience on the future needs for EC systems and main challenges to cope with the increase of needs in the Fusion community.
