Training and Education Office

Training and education is a primary goal of the EUROfusion programme supporting over 1000 PhD and MSc students yearly in Europe studying at over 100 universitites affiliated with EUROfusion.

  • Contribute to the salaries, training activities, missions, equipment of all PhD and MSc students as well as their supervisors through the education budget managed by the individual EUROfusion members.
  • Support internships, participation in education events for Master students, student events, schools, and outreach actvities through FuseNet
  • Support the salaries, training activities, missions, and equipment of selected post-graduate scientists and engineers through the 2-year excellence-based EUROfusion grants. The EUROfusion Researcher and Engineering Grants allow selected candidates to choose and implement their individual 2-year research programme with extensive travel to train and collaborate with European and international partners.
  • Provide access to high-quality educational and training material through the new eLearning platform, called the Fusion Education and Learning Hub (FuEL). The platform will provide access to recorded and live online university courses from Europe and collaborating partners as well as detailed information on universities, research centers and opportunities to join the fusion research programme.
