We recommend to book accommodation in Garching or Garching Forschungszentrum.
- Garching center: There are a number of hotels commonly book by visitors coming to visit EUROfusion and IPP. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries to buy food from.
- Garching Forschunszentrum: There are hotels next to the IPP institute. However, please consider that there are no shops or restaurants in the area in the evening. Thus, you would have to travel to Garching or Munich to have dinner.
Travel to the institute: to go to the institute please walk to the nearest underground (U-Bahn) station for the U6 line in the center of Garching. There is an U6 underground roughly every 10 minutes or less. It is one station from Garching to Garching Forschungszentrum where the institute is located.

- EUROfusion is in building R1-R3 (top/north of the map) - go straight from the gate, cross the river, turn left and the building opposite is the R1-R3 building hosting Fusion for Energy and EUROfusion.
- The talks will take place in the D2 seminar room.

- ASDEX Upgrade is in L6 (right/east of the map)
