VR activities in 2023: IBA analysis of JET PFCs – plans
      Speaker: M. Rubel/P. Petersson

      Plan for 2023:

      • Divertor samples from tiles 4, 6, 7 and 8 (exposed for ILW2+3)
      • Co-deposited layers on these tiles typically very thin so analysis depth of ~350nm should be sufficient on most cases
      • Before shipping any core samples discussions needed to determine how many and which samples will be shipped to VR
      • Analysis of Langmuir probes using HIERDA
      • Analysis of mirror cassettes, baffles and tubes need further discussions because deposition on the tubes installed inside the cassettes had very little deposition during the JET C-wall. Most likely tubes exposed during ILW has even less deposition
